Visit to the United Arab Emirates - Oct 2023

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong made an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 21 to 22 October 2023.

In Abu Dhabi, PM Lee called on President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and had tea with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. PM Lee visited the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for a briefing on the UAE's energy transition plans. PM Lee laid a wreath at Wahat Al Karama to pay tribute to fallen Emirati soldiers, and also visited the Abrahamic Family House and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

In Dubai, PM Lee was hosted to lunch by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He visited the Burj Khalifa and attended a reception for overseas Singaporeans based in the UAE.
