Visit by Crown Prince of Jordan Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II - Jan 2024

Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan His Royal Highness Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II met Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on 12 January 2024.

Crown Prince Al Hussein received a ceremonial welcome, and had call with PM Lee. PM Lee also hosted an Official Lunch in his honour.

PM Lee and Crown Prince Al Hussein discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in fields such as public administration and Technical and Vocational Education and Training. PM Lee also encouraged greater people-to-people exchanges between Singapore and Jordan, and conveyed his appreciation for Jordan’s support for the Singaporean student community in Amman and Irbid. They also exchanged views on developments in the Middle East, including the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

PM Lee and Crown Prince Al Hussein also witnessed the exchange of six MOUs.
