Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong welcomed Rwanda President Paul Kagame at the Istana on 20 September 2024.
Rwanda and Singapore are far apart geographically. But as small nations with limited resources, Rwanda and Singapore have much in common. Both countries work together on the multilateral front, including at the United Nations and the Forum of Small States.
During their meeting, PM Wong and President Kagame discussed ways to enhance cooperation in areas like digitalisation, Fintech, and sustainable development.
