Visit to Vietnam, Hanoi - Mar 2025
Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong had his introductory visit to Hanoi, Vietnam, from 25 to 26 March 2025.
During the visit, PM Wong met and was hosted to dinner by Vietnam PM Pham Minh Chinh. During their discussions, both Prime Ministers affirmed the excellent bilateral relations and agreed on the importance of these bilateral efforts.
They witnessed the exchange of the Letter of Intent on the Plan of Action to the Singapore-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They also witnessed the exchange of Memoranda of Understanding in the areas of cross-border electricity trade, cross-border QR code payments, and digital development and information.
