ASEAN Leaders' Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia - Apr 2021

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited Jakarta, Indonesia, on 24 April 2021, to attend an ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting.

The Meeting was organised by Brunei, as the 2021 ASEAN Chair, and was held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. The ASEAN Leaders discussed the situation in Myanmar, which has had a serious impact on the peace and stability of ASEAN and the region. PM Lee also met Vietnam PM Phạm Minh Chính on the sidelines of the meeting.

PM was accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
