42nd ASEAN Summit May 2023

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong attended the 42nd ASEAN Summit from 10 to 11 May 2023 in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.

ASEAN Leaders reviewed ASEAN’s progress and discussed ways to further enhance collaboration in the digital and green economies. The Leaders also discussed the geopolitical situation, with the view to maintain ASEAN’s central role in an open, inclusive and stable regional architecture.

PM Lee also met Lao PM Sonexay Siphandone, Timor-Leste PM Taur Matan Ruak, and Vietnam PM Pham Minh Chinh on the sides of the Summit.
