Working Visit Of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong To Tokyo, Japan, 21 To 23 May 2014
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make a working visit to Tokyo, Japan from 21 to 23 May 2014 in conjunction with attending the International Conference on “The Future of Asia” organised by Nikkei Inc. and the Japan Center for Economic Research.
During his visit, Prime Minister Lee will meet senior Japanese government and business leaders. Prime Minister Lee will also deliver the keynote address on “Rising Asia – Messages for the Next 20 Years” to mark the 20th anniversary of the Nikkei International Conference.
Prime Minister Lee will be accompanied by Mrs Lee Hsien Loong and officials from the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During Prime Minister Lee’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean will be the Acting Prime Minister for the period 21 to 23 May 2014.
