Release on the Constitutional Commission’s report

The Government has released the report of the Constitutional Commission to Review Specific Aspects of the Elected Presidency.

Acting Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean has issued a video statement regarding the report. The link to the video can be found here (go.gov.sg/dpm-teo-report-elected-presidency). The text of the statement is attached and can be found here.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has written to the Commission’s Chairman, Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon, to thank the Commission. The full text of PM’s letter is attached and can be found here.
