Participation by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in the G20 Summit in Saint Petersburg, Russia, 5 - 6 September 2013

1    Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the G20 Summit in Saint Petersburg, Russia, from 5 to 6 September 2013. The meeting will discuss the current challenges facing the global economy and ways to promote sustainable, inclusive and balanced growth and jobs creation around the world.

2    He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Monetary Authority of Singapore.

3    During the absence of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean will be the Acting Prime Minister.
