MFA Press Statement: Condolence Letter from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to Her Excellency Dilma Vana Rousseff, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil

Dear President Rousseff,

On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, I extend our deepest condolences to you and the people of Brazil for the tragic loss of young lives in the Santa Maria nightclub fire. It was unfortunate that a night of fun ended so sadly.

I am confident that, under your leadership, Brazil will recover from this tragedy. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult period.
