Meeting between Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy on 18 November 2014.
PM Lee met the President of the European Council Mr Herman Van Rompuy during the latter’s working visit to Singapore from 17 to 18 November 2014. The two leaders reaffirmed the strong ties between the EU and Singapore and looked forward to the early ratification of the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. Mr Van Rompuy also briefed PM Lee on the developments in Europe.
Mr Van Rompuy leaves Singapore today.
