Meeting between DPM Teo Chee Hean and Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto, 10 October 2016

Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean met Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto and hosted him to dinner in Singapore on 10 October 2016. DPM Teo and Coordinating Minister Wiranto reaffirmed the close and longstanding bilateral relationship between Singapore and Indonesia, and renewed their personal ties and friendship over two decades. They discussed means of strengthening bilateral cooperation, including in the areas of defence, counter-terrorism and cybersecurity.

Coordinating Minister Wiranto is in Singapore from 9 to 11 October 2016 to attend the inaugural Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW). During his visit, Coordinating Minister Wiranto was also hosted to breakfast by Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen, and met Minister for Communications and Information Dr Yaacob Ibrahim.
