SM Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister S Iswaran and Minister Josephine Teo to visit Davos, Switzerland (23 to 26 May 2022)

Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Transport and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations S Iswaran and Minister for Communications and Information Josephine Teo, will make a working visit to Davos, Switzerland from 23 May to 26 May 2022 to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting and meet government and business leaders from various countries.

SM Tharman, Minister Iswaran and Minister Teo will be engaged in sessions relating to the global commons, revitalising travel and tourism, skills development, cybersecurity and digital cooperation, among others.

They will be accompanied by officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Communications and Information, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and Economic Development Board.

SM Tharman will be in Geneva for other international meetings on 21-22 May and will continue to Sweden after the Davos WEF Annual Meeting, to participate in the deliberations of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism.
