Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam will visit Venice, Italy, from 9 to 10 July 2021, for the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting.
Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will visit Venice, Italy from 9 to 10 July, to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting and present the Report of the G20 High Level Independent Panel on Financing the Global Commons for Pandemic Preparedness and Response.
On 9 July, Senior Minister Tharman, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organization and former Finance Minister of Nigeria, and Lawrence Summers, former US Treasury Secretary, who are co-chairing the G20 High Level Independent Panel, will launch the Report, A Global Deal for Our Pandemic Age.
