DPM Lawrence Wong to visit Japan (23 to 27 May 2023)

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong will make an Official Visit to Tokyo, Japan, from 23 to 27 May 2023, in conjunction with the 28th Nikkei Forum on the Future of Asia organised by Nikkei Inc. The theme of the forum is “Leveraging Asia’s power to confront global challenges”.

During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Wong will deliver a speech at the 28th Nikkei Forum on the Future of Asia on 25 May 2023. Deputy Prime Minister Wong will call on Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, and meet other Japanese political and business leaders. In addition, he will attend a reception hosted for the overseas Singaporean community based in Japan.

Deputy Prime Minister Wong will be accompanied by officials from the Ministries of Finance, Foreign Affairs and Trade & Industry, and from the Economic Development Board.
