Condolence Letter from PM Lee Hsien Loong to Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has written to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev  to convey his condolences over the crash of Metrojet flight KGL 9268 in central Sinai, Egypt on 31 October 2015.  The text of the letter is appended.

Dear Prime Minister,

I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of many lives following the crash of Metrojet flight KGL9268 in central Sinai, Egypt on 31 October 2015.  On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Singapore, I extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families and friends who have lost their loved ones. 

Our thoughts are with you and the people of the Russian Federation during this period.
