Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited Korea from 10 to 12 Dec 2013, where he met President Park Geun-Hye and DPM Hyun Oh-Seok to reaffirm the strong bilateral and economic ties between both countries. PM Lee then visited Japan from 13 to 14 Dec 2013, where he attended the ASEAN-Japan Commemorative Summit in Tokyo, which celebrated the 40th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan relations.
