28th & 29th ASEAN Summits - Sep 2016

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong was in Vientiane, Lao PDR from 6 to 8 September 2016 to attend the 28th and 29th ASEAN Summits and related Summits.

The ASEAN Leaders met their counterparts during the 19th ASEAN Plus Three Summit, the 11th East Asia Summit, and Summits with Australia, China, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States, and the United Nations. They also held the 19th ASEAN-China Summit to Commemorate the 25th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations.

PM Lee met with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, and New Zealand PM John Key on the sidelines of the Summits.
