Visit to China - Apr 2018

PM Lee Hsien Loong made a Working Visit to China (Beijing, Hainan (Bo'ao) and Shanghai) from 8 to 12 April 2018 at the invitation of the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang.

In Beijing, PM Lee met Premier Li Keqiang and Vice President Wang Qishan.

In Hainan, PM Lee attended the Opening Plenary of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference and delivered a speech. He also had a bilateral meeting with President Xi Jinping.

In Shanghai, PM Lee met Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shanghai Municipal Committee Li Qiang. He was also the Guest-of-Honour at the DBS Asian Insights Conference 2018 Leadership Dialogue. This event is held in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of DBS and its 25th anniversary of establishment in China.
