Visit by Tuvalu PM Kausea Natano - Apr 2022

PM Lee Hsien Loong met Tuvalu PM Kausea Natano for the first time, at the Istana on 28 April 2022.

The two PMs discussed the serious challenges caused by climate change that Singapore and Tuvalu will face. They also reaffirmed the warm relations between the two countries.

Singapore was recently admitted as a Dialogue Partner of the Pacific Islands Forum. Singapore looks forward to actively supporting Tuvalu and other Pacific island states on their development journeys.
