Visit by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev - May 2024
President of Kazakhstan His Excellency Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong on 23 May 2024. This was President Tokayev’s first State Visit to Singapore.
President Tokayev and PM Wong discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including in areas such as trade and investment, education, and digitalisation.
They also witnessed the exchange of six government-to-government agreements today in the areas of economic cooperation, higher education, intellectual property rights protection, legal cooperation, and security cooperation.
