Visit by Cambodian PM Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet - Jun 2024
The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, made an Official Visit to Singapore from 18 to 19 June 2024 and had a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong on 18 June 2024.
PM Wong and PM Hun Manet welcomed the growing economic ties between Singapore and Cambodia. Both Prime Ministers discussed ways to deepen cooperation in new and emerging fields such as renewable energy and carbon credits.
They also emphasised the importance of upholding ASEAN Centrality and unity, deepening regional economic integration, and building an open and inclusive regional architecture. They witnessed the ceremonial exchange of the MOU on Cooperation on Digital Government between the Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information and the Cambodian Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.
