State Visit by Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow - Aug 2019

President of Turkmenistan His Excellency Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow met Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 27 August 2019.

President Berdimuhammedow briefed Prime Minister Lee on Turkmenistan’s priorities, including developing its infrastructure and connectivity. Both leaders also affirmed the close cooperation between the two countries in various international fora.

Following the meeting, Prime Minister Lee and President Berdimuhammedow witnessed the signing of three agreements. These were a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in the Legal Field, the Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement, and the Visa Abolition Agreement.
