Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong made an Official Visit to China (Beijing and Xiamen, Fujian Province) from 19 to 21 September 2017 at the invitation of the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang.

In Beijing, PM Lee met President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang who also hosted a Welcome Ceremony and a Dinner Banquet, Chairman of the National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang, and Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Secretary Wang Qishan.

In Xiamen, PM Lee met and was hosted to lunch by the Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Fujian Provincial Committee You Quan. PM Lee visited ST Aerospace Technologies (Xiamen) Company and the Fujian (Xiamen)-Singapore Friendship Polyclinic, the first polyclinic jointly established by Singapore and China in 2011, as well as attended a commemorative event to mark the completion of the refurbishment of the façade of the OCBC Building.
